On Friday (21.08) we started the 10th jubilee Festival of Youth Creativity FOLK INSPIRATIONS with the concert Hello! It’s festival! It’s Łódź. The hosts – artists from the Youth Centre – POLTEX, Song Studio, Tu i Teraz, Krajki, and festival guests – the Song and Dance Group GRAJEWIANIE and the Song and Dance Group EŁK presented themselves on the stage.
The programme included vocal presentations, traditional dances (including polonez, krakowiak), there were also Tatar dances, Belarussian krotucha, Russian or Georgian dance. The stage performances were interspersed with multimedia shows as well as films with greetings and jubilee wishes from the groups, friends from abroad who, due to the pandemic, could not participate in our folk festival.
