On the last day of our festival, participants from Grajewo and Ełk had the opportunity to prove themselves in the most creative form of visiting the city – taking part in the artistic city game “Adventure at Księży Młyn”. Apart from exploring the typical post-industrial space of Łódź, known as “Polish Manchester”, teams were divided into a few groups and performed tasks related to folk and the tenth anniversary of the festival.

On Saturday, at Włókniarki Łódzkie square in Manufaktura many artists appeared-participants of  Folk Inspirations. During the concert entitled  “Rhythms and traditions”, the audience had the opportunity to have fun to the rhythm of folk music, as well as admire traditional dances from various regions of Poland.

On Saturday, on 22 August, at the  Museum of the Factory, we met at the opening of the unique ETHNO DETAIL photo-design exhibition.The exhibition consists of several parts:The photographs present ETHNO DETAILS captured by young reporters during the last nine editions of the International Festival of Youth Creativity FOLK INSPIRATIONS.

On Saturday, on the second day of the festival, in a truly summer atmosphere, our participants attempted to “FALL IN LOVE WITH ŁÓDŹ”. The group from Ełk and Grajewo walked with a guide, discovering the mysterious corners of our city and getting to know the famous “Pietryna”, while looking for traces of Łódź multiculturalism.

We finished the first day of our folk festival. The colourful light illuminations made the evening show unique. The whole event was summed up by a fire theatre show and amazing fireworks. The event was also the opening of a design installation created by the Scientific Circle from Politechnika Łódzka.
